In brief

Change of mind

Each map is printed to your chosen place, area, size, colours and words. Because it is personalised, the usual 14-day right to cancel online purchases does not apply. Please check your design carefully before ordering.

[Optional, owner to decide:] If you need to change or cancel an order, email us straight away. If your design has not yet gone into production (usually within [X hours] of ordering), we will do our best to help.

Damaged or faulty maps

Every map is checked before it leaves our production partner, but things can occasionally go wrong in transit or in printing. If your map:

we will put it right free of charge, normally by reprinting it. If you prefer, or if a reprint is not possible, we will refund you.

Fine layer lines, small colour differences from your screen, and details that come from the open map data you selected are a normal part of the product and are not faults. Mistakes in text or dates that you entered are also not faults, but please get in touch: we will help if we can.

How to tell us about a problem

  1. Write to us through our contact page with your order number.
  2. Include clear photos of the problem and, if it was damaged in transit, of the packaging.
  3. Please keep the map and packaging until we have replied.

Please contact us as soon as you can, ideally within [14] days of delivery, so we can raise any transit claim with the courier. Reporting later does not remove your legal rights: you can still contact us about a fault after this time.

We usually don't need the damaged item back. If we do, we will arrange and pay for the return.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, within 14 days of us agreeing a refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. For a faulty item rejected within 30 days of delivery, we also refund the delivery charge.

Your legal rights

This page is a plain-English summary. It does not reduce your statutory rights. In Ireland, the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (and in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015) gives you the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Our terms of sale explain these rights in more detail.

Customers in the EU: personalised goods are also excluded from the 14-day withdrawal right under EU law. You keep the legal guarantee of conformity under your country's law, which lasts at least two years from delivery, and we will handle faulty items in the same way described above.

Customers in the US: we handle damaged and faulty items in the same way described above, in addition to any rights you have under the law of your state.
